Since Katrina was off shore and hadn’t hit the New Orleans area yet, I’ve tried contacting government people to get them to try using powerful concussion bombs around the eye of a hurricane while it’s still at sea, to weaken the storm. Why? To save lives, property and horrible experiences for
everyone involved. Also, the cost of the bombing would be way cheaper than the multi-billions of dollars those hurricane damages cost.
And, how much are those lost lives worth to their families and friends? And, what about the awfulness of destroyed homes and businesses, and living without electricity or anything close to a normal life for days, weeks or even months or longer?
Please, if you know people who know people, let’s make this happen at least once to see how it works. Dropping concussion bombs around the eye of a hurricane while it’s still at sea hurts no one and no property. The bombs can be controlled to explode at various altitudes around the eye of the hurricane. Will the storm totally disappear? Probably not. But, why not weaken its ferocious attack results?
To me, watching the horrible results of the hurricanes is like watching any other tragedy that could have been prevented or lessened.
Thank you, President Trump, or anyone who knows him, for your help in getting this tried at least one time. Let’s try bombing hurricanes before they hit us!
